A helping hand to Ms. Sherma Salandy and Family

Well known and beloved community people, Sherma Salandy and her family have  been struck by a tragedy when a devastating fire left them standing in the street while  it completely destroyed their home... Over the years, Sherma’s support for youth and her work in Montreal’s Gospel community have made her a community treasure.Her gospel group “S.O.U.L.” with dynamic singer Kiralina and accompanying dancers Susan and Nicole has been a staple at events around the community and  city spreading their ministry  through music, poetry, song and dance. Kiralina, backed by Sherma and S.O.U.L. have appeared on radio, television, in churches of all denominations, nursing homes, as well as parks, fairs, wedding receptions, City Hall celebrations, gospel jubilees, award shows, restaurants and festivals. Playmas Montreal Cultural Association, along with Community Contact and members of the Gospel Community are pleased to present 'GOSPEL FRIDAY" in support of Sherma Salandy and family.  This special event will take place on Friday, October 23, at 6767 Cote Des Neiges, Grand Salon from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The evening will be filled with music and poetry from many local recording artistes such as Zina, Danny Eason, gospel choirs from around the city, Praise Dancers and drummers.
